As an Engineering Manager for MetaMask (Assets), you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Web3. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing up to two engineering teams (2-4 engineers each), providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering their growth.
• Collaborating closely with product management, design, and research to define and prioritize product roadmaps aligned with MetaMask’s strategic vision.
• Cultivating an environment of innovation, continuous learning, and experimentation, encouraging new technologies and process improvements.
• Driving technical decisions to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Maintaining a deep understanding of the technical landscape, including industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
• Working across engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration within the MetaMask ecosystem.
• Defining and tracking KPIs to measure the impact of your team’s work, using data to inform product decisions and drive growth.
• Communicating technical plans, progress, and results effectively to all stakeholders, including product leaders and designers.

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team. Essential qualifications include:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of proven software engineering management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in hiring and building high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Agile software engineering methodologies.
• Strong engineering skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Git, and GitHub.
• Experience developing impactful software and solutions for consumer-facing products.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

• Prior experience in Web3 software development.
• Active contributor to open-source software projects.
