As a Blockchain Security Specialist at Tether, you will be instrumental in securing our innovative digital finance solutions. Your core responsibilities include:
  • Conduct thorough security audits on smart contracts and various blockchain solutions to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Proactively identify on-chain vulnerabilities and potential exploit vectors.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate robust security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Continuously research and monitor emerging threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities across blockchain technologies.
  • Design and implement advanced security frameworks for effective threat detection and vulnerability management.

  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in blockchain and smart contract security.
  • A profound understanding of major blockchain technologies, including both EVM-compatible (e.g., Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon) and non-EVM compatible chains (e.g., Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot, TON).
  • Proven proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust (for Solana, Polkadot), and FunC/Tolk (for TON).
  • Extensive experience with various token standards and their associated ecosystems.
  • Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of cross-chain operations, token issuance security, and Layer 2 solutions.
  • Strong practical and theoretical foundation in cryptography standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effective code reviews, both manually and utilizing automated security tools.
  • A solid understanding of threat modeling, attack surface analysis, and incident response processes.

Highly Desirable:

  • Active contributions to open-source security tools or significant blockchain research.
  • Previous experience with reputable security auditing firms or major blockchain projects will be a significant advantage.
